CPG-1500 Series Precision Digital Gauge

  The model CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge described in the operating instructions has been manufactured using state-of-the-art technology. All components are subject to stringent quality and environmental criteria during production.The model CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge takes the concept of an analogue gauge, and raises it to a level only matched by digital calibrators. The accuracy of digital measurement technology and the simplicity of an analogue gauge are combined together to create the digital pressure gauge CPG1500, which in terms of performance, ease-of-use, and instrument features, is unmatched in the pressure measurement market.

  The CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge can be used as a calibration instrument and also for any application which requires high-accuracy pressure measurement.

Optional and Easy to Use

  Many user configurable functions have been implemented in the CPG1500 (eg logging, sampling rate, tare, damping, auto power off, and Min-Max measurement). Through the new and innovative menu navigation, simple operation is ensured. The clear display, with integral bar graph display and large text area, assists with the effective analysis of the widest variety of measuring points. With the MIN/MAX function, the highest and lowest pressures can be accessed immediately and saved automatically.

  The CPG1500 is controlled via 4 function buttons, with each button having a main and a secondary function. The CPG1500 features an integrated data logger.

  Three AA alkaline batteries are used as the voltage supply for the instrument. These are included in delivery.The battery life time is up to 2500 hours for continuous operation (without backlighting and with WIKA-Wireless deactivated). In the upper right half of the display there is a symbol for the battery capacity.

  Optionally, the CPG1500 can be fitted with an impact-resistant protective rubber cap

  The CPG1500 is factory preset to the pressure unit of “bar” or “psi”. Via the menu, the instrument can be changed to 31 predefined pressure and level units.

  The time duration for automatic power-off can be selected from four predefined and fixed steps. Thus it can be set to “5 min”, “15 min”, “30 min” or “Off”. The display rate is set permanently at 3 x display refresh/s.  

  The digital pressure gauge CPG1500 is temperature-compensated in the range of -10 … +50 °C (14 ... 122 °F). Readings can be displayed in one of 26 pressure and 5 level units or also in customer-specific units, so that intricate conversions are avoided.

Sampling rate

  The measuring rate can be user-defined to match the type of measurement required. Standard applications usually use three measured values per second. If required, this rate can also be set to 50 measured values per second. Via an energy-saving function, the digital pressure gauge CPG1500 switches automatically into “sleep” mode, in this mode the battery life can be increased up to 2,500 hours. The sampling rate defines how frequently the pressure is measured. The options available are 1, 3, 10 and 50 measurements per second or logger interval. The shortest response time is 50 measurements per second.
